At least as of now, this software is not supposed to handle conference specific tasks, but rather pass information common to all conferences "up the chain". At this point, we don't know exactly what that means (maybe e-mail, maybe a database entry ... ) so for right now, it just prints out the would-be entries. In any case, you can try out this software at: http://wwww.brightsands.com/~chris/conference.cgi If this is the first time you've been there, click on "Create an account". Please do not put any private information there, nor assume that by putting any information there you are actually really signing up for a conference. The database may get trashed, etc. There are some modifications to the code to actually make it possible to add Conference-specific questions (e.g. Pelicans ask for number of lobsters and years and types of service). The software has been tested on relatively new versions of Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer. It is not tested on older versions of these browsers and completely untested elsewhere. Again: This is not the real thing. It is a TOY! If you find BUGS please send the information directly to me at ccaldwell at suscom-maine.net. To request functionality or comment on how things can be made better (vs. just fixed) send email to this list. --Chris Caldwell (ad-hoc Pel)
